Hinged doors

Hinged doors are usually a part of the scope in larger contracts, in combination with many other door types. Polarteknik provides hinged doors to driver cabins and to complete partition walls to divide functional parts of the train, such as the engine compartment. Different fire integrity levels are available ranging from E15 to I45 minutes. Operating handle and locking solutions are always tailored to customers’ use cases.

• E30/I15 fire door
• Aluminium frame
• Three heavy-use hinges (stainless steel)
• Intumescent sealing
• Glass area according to previous project
• Door closing device included (with open hold function and fire release in case of fire)
• Various handle and lock functionality
